Zarlec Inc. is seeking a 3PL Manager responsible for forging strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of project materials. This strategic role is crucial in optimizing our procurement processes and maintaining efficiency in our shop and office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor and Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms for project materials.
- Procurement Management: Handle the requesting of quotes, creation, and transmission of purchase orders for all projects.
- Operational Support: Support the purchasing needs of both shop and office management.
- Inventory and Logistics Oversight: Manage shipping, receiving, inventory, and materials management within the shop.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical components and nomenclature.
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
