Zarlec Inc. is seeking a proactive Shop Manager to oversee and provide a critical interface between our shop floor and office for all fabrication projects. This role is essential for building and managing the fabrication schedule, ensuring projects progress smoothly from initiation to shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Build and manage the fabrication schedule, monitor project progress, and ensure timely completion.
- Team Leadership: Instruct and empower shop teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Safety and Workspace Optimization: Actively identify potential hazards to promote a safe working environment and optimize the use of workspace.
- Coordination with Management: Work closely with the Director of Operation to meet project deadlines and achieve company goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of the safe operation of power tools.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of electrical components and nomenclature.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing operations.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
